Check status updates because there are some new animals walking across the farms. It's the cute little lost black cat. This cat will give you 86 coins if you sell her and if you decide to keep it, she needs 3 days in order to be ready for harvest

Farmville top game on Facebook again

New stats came for Facebook games and this time Farmville kicks some major ass. Not only that it's #1 game on Facebook, but look at those numbers. Around 33 million active players. That is somewhere around 10% of the Facebook. Can you imagine how big is that?

Crop Update - Grapes, Peas, Asparagus (sep. 11)

Grapes: cost 85, sell 270, 1 day, 3 XP's
Peas: cost 190, sell 381, 1 day, 4 XP's
Asparagus: cost 220, sell 357, 16 hour, 3 XP's

And that gives a new Super Crop: Asparagus - profit 183!!

Farmville Tips - Get some ribbons fast

There are some ribbons that are really easy to get and also give you grat number of XP or coins

Pack Rat Ribbon: Buy hay bales until you get the blue ribbon. The money you get as rewards adds up to more than the cost of the hay bales. Then sell them all to get more coins.

Architect Ribbon : Buy rest tents until you get the blue ribbon. Same reward as for Pack Rat. Also sell them to get more coins.

Not gifted, spoiled Ribbon: You need 21 unique gifts to get blue ribbon. Just never use your unique gifts until you get the blue ribbon. Keep one of each gift only, because you can't have more than 30 gifts total in your gift box. So if you get 2 horses, keep just one in gift box and put other on your farm.

Local Celebrity Ribbon and Shutterbug Ribbon: Mass add neighbors (that will eventually get you Local Celebrity Ribbon). Go to every farm you add and take a pic of it (for Shutterbug ribbon). Mass numbers of neighbors also get you many ribbon bonuses in your news/farmville feed

Farmville Tips - How to see farm if user is not your neighbor

If you added Facebook user with Farmville app to your Facebook friends, but you don't have them as a Farmville neighbor, you can still visit his/her farm, get points for helping etc.

How do to that?
If user has Facebook ID 123456789
Link for his/her farm is
http://apps.facebook.com/onthefarm/index.php?visitId=123456789

You can get user's Facebook ID by going to his profile page and clicking profile pic.
That will lead you to their album.
Check the URL in your browser. It should be something like
http://www.facebook.com/album.php?profile=1&id=123456789
That number after id= is Facebook ID

Replace whatever Facebook ID number you get with 123456789 and you are on the users farm.

You MUST be his/her Facebook friend to do that, you just don't need to be Farmville neighbor

what is the coin that fall down when you are plowing in Farmville?

That is coin that gives you 100 coin points.
It happens randomly when you plow, you can do absolutely nothing about it, it's pure luck. You do not need to click on the coin or grab it, the addition of the coins will be added automatically.

According to the Zynga support FAQ the coins appear about 1% of the time.

How to earn Farmville cash (FV cash)?

You have Farmville coins, but then again, you have Farmville cash, icon with paper money right next to coins.
Many of you wonder how to earn cash, since you noticed that you have more now than when you started playing.

Answer is simple: whenever you level up, you get one Farmville cash bill.
I think you start with 5 Farmville cash and when you get to next level you get one FV cash.
Older members didn't get FV cash for leveling, that is something added to Farmville recently.

Another way of earning FV cash is completing offers on Get more farm coins page in your Farmville app.
Get to the bottom of that page where you can find offers to complete and get FV cash.

Farmville Trapping method - plow, plant and harvest faster

When you plow, plant or harvest in Farmville game, your character walks to every field and then does his thing.
That is really slow and you can make it faster by trapping your character.
When (s)he is trapped, plowing/planting/harvesting will happen instantly as soon as you click with your mouse, you no longer need to wait for your character to walk to the place for planting and that will speed things up a lot.

When you load up Farmville your character is in the starting middle position.
Just put something around him to "trap" him in that place.
Left of him, right, up and down.
The best thing to use for trapping is Sign post note (top right in Farmville window)

since it's free, but you can use whatever you want.

Here is example. I've used hay bale because it looks little better although it costs 100 coins per hay bale.

Note: When you expand your farm, the center of your farm will move so your character will no longer be trapped. Just move signs, hay bale or whatever you used to trap him to a new location around him
